Biden Set to Sign Executive Order Supporting Abortion Rights

President Joe Biden signed an executive order this Friday in attempts to safeguard remaining abortion rights. This follows just a mere few weeks after the Supreme Court overruled the case of Roe v. Wade. The overturning of Roe v. Wade however, did not mean all abortions instantly became illegal, but was rather giving each state the power to determine what they wanted their laws on abortion to be.

Biden says this new order will allow for more patient privacy when seeking or obtaining an abortion. It will also create more access to abortion care and contraceptives. Fellow Democrats have been weighing down hard on Biden to do something after the case was overturned.
