NASCAR Driver Noah Gragson Gets Punishment for Causing Crash Intentionally

NASCAR driver Noah Gragson, has been punished for intentionally causing a crash. On Saturday, Gragson instigated a crash with Sage Karam at Road America in Wisconsin. According to the New York Post, NASCAR has given Gragson a $35,000 fine, and has had “30 points removed from his season total”.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.,one of the co-owners of Gragson’s team, was reported to say he was in disbelief that there “wasn’t an immediate penalty” for Gragson. He explained that he was shocked Noah Gragson made the decision to intentionally cause a wreck, and put the lives of other men in danger. The New York Posts reported that “Karam and Gragson first came together at the exit of turn No. 3, where they scraped sides. It was there that Gragson lost his patience and yanked his wheel to the right, sending both Karam and himself spinning.”. From there, other cars became involved in the wreck.
