Georgia Guidestones Monument Blown Up
The controversial Georgia Guidestones Monument located in Elberton, Georgia has just been blown up. Early Wednesday morning there were explosives set up and fired on the monument at around 4am. The monument was originally 4 long stone hinges all placed together, but the explosion turned one of them to rubble.
The Georgia Guidestones has been a controversial monument for years, with conservative Christians claiming it is satanic, and others have called it “America’s Stonehenge”. The Guidestones were placed in 1980 by an unknown person or group of people, only going by the name R.C. Christian.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations has video surveillance of the incident, and was able to identify a gray sedan speeding away shortly after the explosion. They have been unable to identify the perpetrators and ask for the help of the community to figure out who committed this crime.
