Woman Gets Tracked at Disney by Apple Air Tag
A woman was secretly tracked for over two hours in what is claimed to be the “happiest place on Earth”. On a late Saturday night in June a woman was walking around Disneyland California when an Apple Air Tag was planted on her without her knowledge.
Apple’s Air Tags are small location devices that track your movement and can be placed on everyday items such as wallets, phones, backpacks, bikes, cars, etc. Irish writer Hannah Rose May was tracked for over two hours until she found out about the Air Tag. The device synched to her phone’s bluetooth and notified her of the Air Tag.
It is unknown who planted the device on her or where it was planted, but May is glad she found out about the device before something bad happened to her. The coin-sized device was created to be used for good, but has seemed to aid bad actions instead.
