Internet Explorer Ends After Running for 27 Years

Much of society’s life has been based upon the use of the web browser Internet Explorer up until this point. The browser is controlled by Microsoft, and they will be redirecting users to their new browser Edge, which should be released in the coming months.

It was August 16, 1995 when Microsoft introduced Internet Explorer to the world. For many people, the browser was nostalgic. This was up until Wednesday when it suddenly was wiped off of all programs. In the next Windows update the browser will be swept from all computers.

Many users joke about how it was always a very slow browser, but it was with them through everything and always got the job done. Memes and gifs have been created about the browser and the memories that came from it.
