Trouble the Rapper Dies at 34

On June 5th, Atlanta rapper Trouble, was shot and killed in Georgia at the age of 34. Trouble, or Mariel Semonte Orr, was found dead on the ground outside of an apartment building east of Atlanta, at around 3:20 am reported by the Los Angeles Times. Trouble was apparently visiting a female friend, and suspect Jamichael Jones, knew the woman but not Trouble.

Officers found Trouble’s body outside of the apartment, and have not arrested anyone yet, although Jones, the identified suspect, had been issued with an arrest warrant. Many rappers around the country have shared condolences on the rapper’s death, including Gucci Mane, record label Def Jam Recordings, Mike WiLL Made-It, and more. As the specific motive to the murder is unclear, the Los Angles Times has reported that Atlanta officials rule it to most likely be a “domestic situation”. Further details regarding the death have not yet been released.
