CDC Extends Mask Mandates for Travel
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has just announced that they have extended the mask mandate for planes, trains, and buses an additional 15 days.
This call was made due to the recent spike in COVID19 omicron sub-variant cases in the United States. The mandate is now set to end on May 3, despite many airlines expressing their disapproval. The order was originally set to expire April 18.
Many have opened up about their feelings towards this extension, including how masks are not required in most public places anymore; such as restaurants, shopping malls, parks, and many other overcrowded places.
The CDC will be supervising this sub-variant until the mandate is set to end.
