Tom Brady Guides Buccaneers to Playoffs
Tom Brady leads the Buccaneers to the playoffs for the first time since 2007. Brady, who is in the midst of his first season with the Buccaneers since his move from his 20 season career on the Patriots, helped the team clinch a spot in the playoffs following their 47-7 win over the Detroit Lions on Saturday, the same game which Brady also set the franchise record for touchdown passes in a season.
Following the game, the Buccaneers’ head coach Bruce Arians told reporters that his team is, “… going to be a pretty tough out.” Brady also commented on the teams’ performance and outlook for the playoffs saying, “I know at different times we haven’t played the way we’re capable of playing and when we do play that way we’re capable of playing, we’re tough to beat.”
The Buccaneers, who are 10-5, grasped one of the NFC’s three wild-card spots, and expect to advance past opening weekend according to NFL news.
