Netflix Releases Content for Free
In an effort to promote their streaming service, Netflix offered some of their content for free to users that have not signed up for a subscription yet. Their initial release was limited to only one of their Netflix originals “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” for a limited time so users would be encouraged to start a membership allowing them to watch the sequel “P.S. I Still Love You.”
Recently however, Netflix has decided to add other content to non-subscribed viewers, including movies Bird Box, Murder Mystery, The Two Popes, and for TV shows, the first episodes of Stranger Things, Our Planet, Boss Baby: Back in Business, When They See Us, Love is Blind, Elite, and Grace and Frankie. The company has not yet announced whether they will be rotating these options with others in the future nor how long they will keep the free content available to non-subscribers for.
