Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Buy $14.7 Million Home
Duke Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle, who renounced the royal throne and moved to America, bought their first home in Montecito, California for $14.7 Million, on the seaside of Santa Barbara County. This area is home to many other celebrities, who value it for its seclusion and privacy. Harry and Meghan’s names have reportedly not been put onto the grant deeds for the property, but the estate was sold in June to a trust with the same mailing address as Meghan Markle’s former Hollywood business manager.
The 7.4-acre compound is surrounded by a private area on a gated street for privacy. The estate built-in 2003 has a Mediterranean-style architecture, includes decor of beige and off-white coloring, and has a total 9 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms along with other rooms such as a library, gym, saunas, and a home theater. Altogether, the living space within the property reaches a total of 19,000 square feet. The former Royals will share the home with their young son Archie.
